Out of interest were these boxes purchased as a "package". Maybe from an ebay or gumtree?

Ive just got one from ebay too and all seems ok with mine. If you boot it on and off too fast though the channels will be scrambled. Always wait at least a minute in between booting up and powering down and vice versa. Thats the only time i get scrambled.

Maybe slow internet like others have suggested.

Seems im dropping paid channels alot more now on my f3. Scrambled comes up and i have to keep rebooting as if the box is forgetting its connected to the internet. Annoying to say the least.

Any ideas? 30mb internet running it directly through ethernet via a new virgin media superhub and netgear router.

Seems now even rebooting doesnt get anything back....

I think that the skybox forget to connect to the internet or is too slow.
Is there any solution to put the Skybox permanently on the Internet ?

PS: The lastet firmware (2013/01/14) is very unstable for me ! A lot of reboots !

So far so good for me, my issue was to do with my supplier and not my box. Few tweaks after a chat and all seems better now. Few glitches but no more scrambled.....fingers crossed.

Read my above post mate and consider that may be an issue rather than the box being at fault.
                Are you fta channels ok?

                    Nothing else.

Even on a 500kbps internet connection, you should not have any issues if the "provider" is up to scratch
Thats very tru normally its either the sub provider or just a case of rebooting the router every so often, when your box is on it hardly uses any packets from the net at all but it could also be a case of playing around with the ethernet cable at the back of your box by takin it out and pluging it back in again and rebooting the box as aswell. But the main one is the server the sub uses if it over loads you will get freezes and scrambeled channels quite often so chek your sub aswell if need be to anyone with these issues

The FTA Channels are ok .
                      Only the $ Channels.
I chat with my supplier but he said with him was everything ok.
I think also that the Skybox have problems..
Because my DM500 works with the same C-Line much better.
No Freezes. With my new internet i get only 1-2 times a day the scrambled icon. But the sound and the picture stuck very often for 2-6 seconds.

Is there a better Box for CCCAM with HD ?
I know that Dreambox (original) are nearly the best.
                      But is too expensive.

                      Thanks

The technomate 5402 is also a very good receiver, very simuliar to the blade but a little cheaper.
