    Openbox x3 Dead...

    Hi guys I wonder if you can help me my open box x3 arrived yesterday installed fine scanned 2 satellites was all working perfect went to scan a third satellite it got to 100% then froze, I turned the power off then back on again now all I get on my open box x3 display is a dull number 8. can you guys help me?

      Do I just connect it all and run EromUpgrade i keep reading about a batch file but I don't know what that does or how to use it?

        Just connect it up and enter the abs file that in the file uploaded. Tick include bootloader.

        Box powered off
        Start the loader
        switch box on

        May need a few attempts.

        If your using a laptop with a USB to Serial adaptor you need to select the correct port.

          that file is just the loader
          you will still need the proper firmware to load.
          I don't think it works with usb adapters.
          The batch file just made the proper eromclient.abs file
          for a version that had support for different models.
          That zip already has the proper file.
