skybox f4(new openbox)setting up motor please help

hiya guys got a f4 box trying to set up the motor , put in the long and lat and strated at 1 west got that then when i tried to get 5e it gets confused and still picks up thor. set up my open box s10 fine.

One thing if my post code is wa5 what and how would u put the long and lat in ie 053.41 and 32.52.

have you set the motor to usals in the sat set ups

no tried doing it manual, bit of a novice mate. not sure i've inputed my long and lat right. how does the usals help

usals will drive the dish to where your box tells it to go, you need to make sure you set it for every sat you want to add.

ok so i've found 1west on disque 1.2 maual, should i save that to a postion then change to usals and it searchs for other sats. i have all the sats and tp lists on the image

053.41 and 32.52.

lattitude enter as 53.41

longitude if it is minus -32.41 then it would be 00.32

Your latitude is going to be around 53 degrees (entered as 053.39 and should be 'NORTH'), while the longitude will be around -2 point-something (eg, entered as 002.10 WEST).

when i had the openbox i didn't bother with langitude latitude stuff, i set the dish up on 1w thor and then just set usals for everythin and it picked it all up without any problems.

ahh think thats where i'm going wrong ill go google earth and get the exact long and lat. once i put that in whats the best way to proceed, oh by the way thanks for your help i've been at it all day

i never had a problem using usals, even with the more expensive box i'm using now i still use usals, if your dish is set correctly ya can't go wrong.

my lat is 53.441835 and lat -2.665824 how do i put this in the box

53.44 & 00.26 mines not much different from yours and thats how mines set

on the f4 extra digt the long ie 002.66 is that right. ive found 1w got all the channels should i just go and set the other sats to usals and do a sat scan or what

yeh just select another sat, set motor as usals and do a blind scan.. 000.27 -2 = 0.2 .266 rounded up to nearest .27
