If thats your postcode above then yea, you're 53.44N, so thats what you should put in your Box... Does your Dreambox find satellites if you set the motor settings to USALS instead of diseqc...

If it doesnt then it seems your dish hasnt been installed correctly, especially not for USALS to work..

my old dream box was set for disquie only. when i got my s10 a few weeks ago i put it in and used disquie and had no probs. had to change the box due to a fault and got the f4, put that in and had these promblems.my long is 002.67w and lat is 53.44n. if i use disquie on 5 ,7 and 23.5 e what is the best trasponder to use. i,ve been on web sites but there info is old. by the way thanks for your time

You dont enter log & lat when using diseqc

Its a shame you cant get your dish sorted out, USALS makes it all so much simpler

Ok guys searched the web, found out to change the long to 002.29 and bam set usals got the lot in 15 mins. Thanks for all your help guys.

So your dish is out a bit then, difference between 2.29 and 2.66 (your real longitude) is about 12 miles..

It all a lot simpler if the dish is installed correctly to start with, but at least you've got it sorted, somehow...
