    Skybox M3 Help Please?

Hi. I recently bought a skybox m3. When i click on a channel and try to view programs after the current one it only allows me to see the next two programs coming up. the slots for all the other times are empty. is there anyway around this?

Also, is there anyway to do weekly recording?

    Thanks.

You can only see Now&Next EPG on Sky 28.2e, thats just the way it is, nothing you can do about it... Satellite Receivers costing more than twice as much have methods for providing a full EPG, cheap Skybox/Openbox receivers dont..

There is a timer facility on the Skybox, how useful it is I dont know as I never record using these boxes...

They all support 7 day EPG, but not whats broadcast from the 28.2e satellite, Sky... The F5 will not be able to provide 7 day EPG for 28.2e

Boxes that have methods for providing a full epg for Sky on 28.2e are ones like the Technomate 5402 or Blade 7000, or any of the full blown Linux OS receivers..

All i want is a box where i get full epg & all the sky channels. right now all i've got is the all sky channels & can only see the next 2 programs on a channel.

Like I said, you need to spend considerably more than what a Skybox costs to achieve that..

here you go as you seem to want everything on a plate.

as has been said in aonther thread by ramjet i think, its not a secret that these boxes only do now and next on uk providers, and if it was important to you, you should have done some reading before buying.

enigma 2 boxes vary in price like all other things in life and can be purchased from many many places

I gave you two different models of box that are relatively user friendly, maybe have a look on Ebay for them, or even Google..

I strongly advise you not to buy a Linux box, as they are considerably more complicated to use and maintain, I think you would forever be on forums seeking help with it..
