    Multi Room

    Hello,

I have 2 Openbox S10 boxes coming off individual feeds off a quad LNB dish
I have 1 on a direct ethernet feed from my wireless router and 1 fed via a WiFi Bridge fed from the same router.

I am only able to watch via the boxes individually, if i have both boxes switched on I am only able to watch the one fed by the ethernet cable, the other box has scrambled channels.

I have checked the settings and find the IP address are the same on each box, the baffling thing is I also have 2 cable boxes which are internet fed in exactly the same way and they have different IP addresses and they work fine.

I am presuming it is the IP address element that is the issue.

Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received.

    Thanks in advance

You said it make sure either box has a different ip address and make sure you're allowed to do that with your supplier,

Thanks for the replies, maybe I was a bit foolish in taking out 2 separate subscriptions without checking if they would work off the same internet connection, the surprising thing to me though is that I have asked my subscription provider for assistance in sorting this out and none of their suggestions have resolved the problem, I would have thought that if I needed a different subscription they would have mentioned it...mmmmmmm
