Otherwise for a few quid and a bit of soldering its very easy to fix (if that is the problem)

Or if you are really no good or have no inclination to do it yourself, then for ?7 you can get one off ebay ready made.
    Item number:121100232378

Although it is ruddy expensive for what it is
Just got myself one of those diode fixes, guy on ebay stayed 10mins away so picked it up. Done a full scan and picked up all the hd movie channels and they work. Spot on to everyone that helped.

Some of the channels are coming up not valid, search again, but they work if I turn the box off and on again.

If you still can return it as a faulty box, something like that can be anything, could be psu problem or tuner or dry joint etc.. intermittent fault are hard to find.

          Or try another firmware.

My s11 was very particular to which firmware it likes and which one it doesn't.

If you don't have the latest, flash that (very easy via usb stick)

Have you tried changing the channel number of your router?
