I have tried a different box from a friend and sames channels that have no signal on my box work fine on the other box.

Could also be moved channel frequencies or transponders? Premium channels are forever moving about. That coupled with picking up a faint signal from another sat would give those symptoms.

Have you looked in "all" to see if there are ANY versions of the channels you want working? As you will know each channel is repeated a million times. :sly:

Hi If the second box is working fine then it means there is nothing wrong with dish alignment/LNB or cables. Double check you have same frequencies for the channels as the second box. You may need to retune the channels in again.

          Regards.

Is this the only box connected to your dish, or do you have any other boxes connected to the same dish?

Sometimes a second box connected to the same LNB can cause problems.

Im having similar issues, i have a f3 and a f5, f3 is working perfect, f5 has lost a lot of channels with "no signal" have same firmware and channel lists on both boxes and have reinstalled them on the f5 copying them from the working f3. Is my f5 box goosed then? only had it a month so can get it exchanged if it is.

If you have 2 boxes connected to the same LNB at the same time, then that can cause problems with some boxes showing "no signal" on some channels.

You can test this by turning off the working box & checking to see if the "no signal" channels return on the non-working box. If this is the case, then the box needs the "no signal fix" as discussed here:-

You can buy them on Ebay for ?6 -?7.

Just tried mine with the f3 switched off and all my channels are back so looks like the "no signal fix" will sort mine out

I would think twice before opening the box' thus invalidating the warranty, unless its last option.

There's no need to open the box. The diode fix is fitted externally between the LNB cable & LNB socket on the box.

If you search for "no signal fix" on Ebay, there are currently 3 sellers.
