Hello I'm new to all this so bare with my lack of knowledge, I have recently bought an f5 box and I am trying to connect an external hard drive that I have via the USB port, but it doesn't connect and won't let me record? Is there something wrong with my box or something I'm doing wrong, thanks

Hi thanks for replying, no device is detected when I plug it in, the blue light on the hardrive that is meant to stay on when it's plugged in just flashes on then goes off? I have no idea if its compatible (im useless with technology) I use the hardrive for one of my consoles. When I press record it just says no record partition (or something along those lines). Is it worth buying a cheap USB stick and trying that? ThanksComment
