I was getting the same error about stb ram, but i tried the EromUpgrade file in the erom_upgrade_8Mflash folder and it worked.

If your using a USB to serial adaptor try these drivers here: USB-RS232 Serial Converter Driver Download

Worked for me.

NOTE TO ALL: ALWAYS run the CONFIG Batch file first as ADMIN in Erom Upgrade, then load EromUpgrade Program and set COM Port to 115200 and Parity to EVEN

(I know its set to NONE in Dev Manager, but this works oddly enough) and now select your Upgrade or DUMP.

When you press NEXT, you will see Synchronizing STBs..
And also
Please Reset Target<<<------This error is normal as it happens every time I use the program successfully.


If however you seem to keep getting STB Target Error then its best you should use ONLY THIS PROGRAM

Wait bout 5 secs and turn the power on your STB from the back or if your box has no switch, power on from the mains Plug....

( STB MUST HAVE A FRESH POWER ON = no remote power on- I.E - DO NOT boot from standby)

Once youve powered on your STB, wait 5 secs and it should say Synchronizing STBs.. DONE

And now your DUMP or Upgrade will load up and prompt for permission to run. Click Allow etc, This means your `FIX` is now working, unless you get an error while writing to your STB.....

Just thought Id throw this in as some people dont know it.....
