Move the dish without undoing the nuts. Sounds daft but just pressing the edge of the dish with your finger will move it enough to check if it corrects it. Keep clear of blocking the signal to the lnb. Try one side first then the other then the top and the bottom.i have all the channels and my signal strength/intensity is really good except for the frequency 12344.00 where it is only 10% intensity. can anyone suggest anything i could try? i understand move the dish is the obvious but im worried i might disrupt the other channels
While you are doing this you need someone watching the tv while its on a channel on the frequency and the info button pressed three times to get the Signal & Intencity bars on the screen. They will go coloured when the strength is enough.
If your not in talking range use mobiles. -
Is that 12344 H or V?i have all the channels and my signal strength/intensity is really good except for the frequency 12344.00 where it is only 10% intensity. can anyone suggest anything i could try? i understand move the dish is the obvious but im worried i might disrupt the other channels
It's unlikely that a single transponder not being picked up is caused by dish misalignment.Comment

I have heard of transponders being lost if the LNB freq isn't set to Universal (9750-10600), but that is usually more than 1 transponder.
Also do you have any wireless devices, like a cordless phone, close to the box. I have heard that these can cause interference on a single channel if they are placed close to the box.Last edited by Hadron; 21 November, 2013, 11:34.Comment

i had a cordless phone plugged in next to the box. i have removed this but still no good.I have heard of transponders being lost if the LNB freq isn't set to Universal (9750-10600), but that is usually more than 1 transponder.

i have checked all my transponder frequencies and in total i have 8 that have no signal strength or intensity. Is it normal to not have all of the transpdonders being picked up?
Is it worth a factory reset and start again?Comment
