Openbox S10 reboots on HD channels

Hello everyone

I've a Openbox S10 which keeps rebooting itself on HD channels only, like a reboot loop, it works fine on SD channels but as soon as you go to HD it's off in seconds, I've tried upgrading the firmware for openbox but no joy, I've then since put skybox firmware on the box and the HD channels work fine but the favourites only has 8 bouquets, has anyone come across this before and can recommend any fixes?? I've backed up old image so I'm going to try other sky box images.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Try the attached file its what on a few s10s that mates have.

Early software from the s9 worked on s10s with only 8 favs.

I never noticed.
the oldest that would run on my s10 was from late march 2011
anything older would just boot to --

Try the attached file its what on a few s10s that mates have.

I notice that the OP said that he put "Skybox" firmware on the box when he noticed it.

It would be interesting to know the actual firmware he used.

the 4-4-2011 s9 firmware had 32 favorites,open the firmware in alieditor and select default database.
The only other older s9 firmware that would run on the s10 was the 3-25-2011 but I don't have a copy of that to check on this pc.

Thanks for replies, it's for my dad's box, I'll back up the image to USB and post it on! Loads up saying sky box unless that's just the boot logo?? Defo only has 8 favourites though all other firmwares seem to loop the box, still need to try the other dump that a lad posted on earlier, gonna try it tomorrow.

old firmware had the vertical menus,instead of the horizontal menu across the top of the screen.

If the firmware is still on the box, you can get the version from Tools > Information.

Hi DW190, tried your image dump tonight on the box and it still reboots on every HD channel any ideas??
Everyone I've put my old firmware on, it boots up skybox and the version is CHDS2-11-03-25:00EBCM, this only has 8 favourites but all HD channels work fine?? I'm going to try the editor on the firmware and see if that works, anyone have any ideas why the box would reboot on HD channels? Must be firmware though??
