Its the 4th one down in system setup. Language - tv system- display setting- epg and time setting

Maybe you have the same image as I have (Yojia), not downloaded from S*ybox.cc. Because I have the same "issue" as you. My EPG settings are under "Tools", 4th meny, that starts with "Information". There I can choose to have epg data from Sat, Internet or manual.

Maybe images from Yojia and S*ybox.cc and others are buildt slightly different...?

Hi MyB5, under my tools menu, I have information as the 1st, then factory settings, ca slot setting, then upgrade by usb, im a bit of a newbie to all this, any idea wha ti do next ?

I think you might have an older image. My one is from 2013-11-19. If it's there, it's at the buttom of the same page as Information.

Then we don't have the same image...or box?? This is the firmware I use. But I can't guarantee it's good for your box. This is fw from Yojia. Use on your own risk. Unpack, load to your usb and flash. But FIRST, dump on to your usb backups of all your settings. Start with Backup.abs, then save on to pc, then back up your TP-PROG.dbs and your config files. Flash new image, then add your old TP-PROG.dbs and config files. Good Luck!

There was no need to revert to the previous software. If you had read the upgrade instructions you would have found that all you had to do was to enter the Micro Panel menu and change the option in the newly added GUI submenu from WHOLE to 3 and this would have given you the old style channel list.

Even if you do use the GUI and go Whole to 3 the channel info ... date and time just shows ?? ?? ?? and ???? characters instead of the date and time as is.... whether there is a means to sort it via a menu or not, if you press info button twice when on a channel.... the box reboots.... still sticking with the November release

That's strange. I don't get any of those symptoms happening on my box. Perhaps you should try using the Official Skybox software to see if it cures it. I believe the OP of this software did post a renamed version of the official software further on in this same thread stating that it cures some bug. Maybe, that was the bug. Well they're working ok on mine but, as stated previously, I'm using the official software.

I sorted my movies by deleting channels and reinstalling sattv5 list. Everything working swell now

Hi, i seem to be having ssme problem with not having the rpg option in my menu, would like to uodate my firmware but im worried ill wipe .................................. could someone please tell me how to back everything up before i try it cheers all
