The EPG is displayed when you press the EPG button and so long as it has updated itself you will get full 7 days. As for memory, try using 512mb first to see you can. If not, then use your other one. Whichever usb you use will have to be kept in the box.

I will say you're extremely unlikely to be able to record much (if that's your intention as well) with just 512mb.

Thanks! Not that I will be doing recording and never will. I just want that 7 days EPG to keep my family happy. Thanks am going to do it now. Hopefully 512mb will work just fine

You could, at the least, try reading the first post of this thread that you are posting in. Failing that your other options are the Skybox.cc website or wherever you obtained your new firmware from.

You just need to update the epg

I have updated the box... And my channels list and gifts has been saved. But not info about 7 days it's still now and next and when I press the ok button new GUI don't tell me what's on now or next nor the 7 days EPG? Help please I have updated the channel and I'm going to re update by pressing the red button

have you changed it from update via satellite to internet? if not, thats what you need to do


plug in usb and leave it in

open menu, go to EPG settings, change from sat to internet, go to XMLTV and open that up, change english or whatever language you use to "auto", click the red buttin
takes about 10 minutes

Thanks! It's worked... However you know my OK button it used to have 3 colum of channels list at a time and it's look all different now but there a blank gap in between the first bit and the channel bit how to fix? My epg is working showing my 7 days and I can change the gui thing in XMLTV option in m/p section. It just that bit on OK I have a blank gap even tho I can use the old style but I prefer the new one.

Please note that this software is for the newer " S " series of boxes i.e. it will only work on a F3S box and not the older F3 box.

Possible reasons could include: no usb device connected,
usb size is not large enough, usb device hasn't been formatted to FAT32, no internet connectivity, a corrupt download etc.

I get that same feeling aswell... Anyone know when does automatic epg update starts? Currently on Stand by with you USB plugged in over night

Hit the mirco menu button on your remote, on the menu that pops up scroll down to where it's says GUI, click on that and on the next menu scroll left or right to change from whole or 3, YOU WANT TO HAVE IT ON 3.
