    Happy new year!
sorry to state the obvious but are you sure your using a null modem cable?
When it says this error are you putting the power cable back into the box?

At may have been prudent to ask if there was any DK members in your local Area who may have been willing to help out first, Always worth a try for future problems

what i found out today with mine is when i pulled the power lead out of the box it seemed to work then seconds later stb memory error so i finanly got fed up opened the skybox up to find one of the little chips had swollen up

so id advise if your having the same problem as me and the synchronizing STBs please reset target message has done next to itwhen you pull the power cord out
send it back to your dealer cause its well bricked
