Skybox has released a newer version of the software dated 22/01/14 and as it is only 2 days later rather than start a new thread I have edited my first post and updated the attachment so that it is the latest release.

Is there anyway to sort the channels in the EPG? Mine are just all over the place and i use a sky numbered channel list so i wouldn't mind the EPG in order just 101,102,103 etc?
And is there an easier way to get the EPG up rather than going into menu, apps etc? When i use the EPG button it brings the EPG up that doesn't work.

for epg to work properly, goto menu, system setup, epg and time setting, and change first option to internet (xmltv), reboot the box and then your epg should be functioning via the epg button on the remote

I also want to know this. I have the same problem. I can't find a way to have the "epg-channels" in a different order...I'm talking about the new xmltv plugin.

Sounds as if you have the old style 7 day epg and not the new one. The old one had the channels in a random order. The new style matches the way they are displayed in your favourites and is completely different.

Maybe you're right. I went through the "minimeny", Epg and there I could choose between 2 kinds. I thought I choosed xmltv, but I could be wrong....My firmware is from oct or Nov, not the latest. Do I need the dec fw for correct epg data?

Yes I think so, take a look at my first post and also make sure that Epg and Time Setting is set to Internet as if it's not that will also give you the old type 7 day epg display. The PICON feature makes it look better too.

Updated box last Monday and checked today and my epg hadn't updated and obviously nothing was displayed. Had to do a manual update.

I have got the latest firmware (dated 22nd).

Yea, I assume you've altered the Epg download setting to Automatic after the update as the upgrade changes it to the Manual setting, but it does seem a bit hit and miss whether it does indeed update automatically. I've had to force an update myself on a few occasions.

Well having done a manual update on Tues 28th as the epg didn't update itself prior to that, I checked epg today and could only see until tomorrow (mon).

I then when into xmltv settings from network menu and turned autoupdate off and exited back to TV (didn't turn it on standby) and then turned autoupdate on again, exited back to tv and turned my box onto standby. It then started to update epg.

I will now wait and see if it will do an auto update within the next 7 days now that it's done one itself (well after I gave it a little push ).

I would like that you're right but,you will see there will not be any important updates for F3 except maybe fixing you p0rn....

Unfortunately seems i was totally right about releasing sw for F3 version,i just read somewhere on the internet that there will not be any sw upgrades for F3,I hoped they will make picon for F3 too but no they will not.It's imortant that they fully fixed youp0rn ,Im interested which person on the world need that option....

+ look this subtitle reading in media player https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFJHt-f9oVc who can watch any movie with that,i think this kind of subtitles doesn't exist in any media device on the world(maybe BS player doesn't have that option LOL)......

I dont suppose this fixes the problem with the timer, where it gains when the skybox is on? i.e. the skybox is reporting its 14:30 when its actually 14:10 ?
