didnt update f5s with december update can i just update with the latest 22/1/2014 or should i do decembers first

i have tried to do the update but it keeps coming up with file mismatch have re downloaded the file but stil the same i have a skybox f5s am i doing something wrong.i have followed the instructions but still says file mismatch

just update the new firmware 22/1/2014 no probs no need to do 2 updates

You can just update with 22/01/2014 normal practice take a backup first should anything happen.

Hi thanks for the reponse. Yes, I've unzipped the files. I found this on another page :-

There can be several reasons for this.

A) Your download is corrupt. Try redownloading it.
B) You haven't extracted the file before copying it to your usb stick.
C) You are downloading the wrong software for your box. This software is for the " S " series. Check the model number of your box.
D) Your box is a possible clone box.
E) You did not correctly select the file by placing a tick in it before starting the upgrade process.

I've done step a, b.

C) How can I check the model of the box ? there is a sticker on the front stating f5s

D) How can I check if its a clone box ? I thought I bought a f5s ?

E ) there is not tick for the abs file which is the one I cant update

you must have the correct firmware flashed, so check that first

have you put the lastes firmware on it, and if so, did it complete 100%?
