Skybox/libertview box loading channels really slow... Please help!

Hi, can someone help me please, my libertview box/skybox is quite slow at loading channels, whilst pressing up and down on the remote... Never had this issue until loading aj new channels... Is that normal? Iv done factory reset and software firmware reset and uploaded aj new channels.

Did you delete your old list of channels and reboot the box before updating the latest list?

Yes, went to channel list and deleted all channels then uploaded new aj list

Have you tested going back to the old list or using the skytv list to see if the problem is defo down to the new AJ list?

As so many other people are using AJ's list it seems unlikely to be that (I'm using it without this issue) are you using the 7 day xml epg or the sat delivered? if it's the XML try changing to sat and see if the zapping is quicker, if so, look to your external storage device, maybe try deleting the epg from it and re-downloading.

im only using xml epg sat settings, and still the same problem... im not using any external usb or hd... only wifi antenna.

Try this:-

Backup channel list and other things you need.
Remove wifi antenna
Delete channel list
Restore to defaults
Reboot
Load up latest firmware (for F3S and F5S it's dated 22/01/14)
Reboot (which will be automatic after a firmware update)
Restore to defaults
Load AJ's latest channel list
Reboot

Now see if that helps before changing settings or adding EPG/PICONs or your wifi antenna.

If you believe this is related to AJs latest list (but I and others have no issues like this) then:-

Delete ALL channels (this is important)
Reboot
Go back to AJ's last channel list here (dated 11/01/14).
Reboot

Try that and let us know.

What box do you have? Also, in what way is box crashing?
