Skybox F5s Recording

Hi thanks for my Chanel list when I got my F5s box Ebay he told me there is no EPG for them
do you have one that works so I can see what's on over 7 days etc and record

just one thing the epg I installed from sky.cc is a hour behind because of the summer update. How can I fix this? Also there is no epg for BT sports or movies?

To fix the EPG 1 hour behind you need to install the latest firmware SkyBox | SkyBox or make sure System Setup -->EPG Default Setting ,and Set Summer Time "ON" to correct the time

There, at present is no epg for BTsports, movies for some reason always misses out the first day then you get EPG correctly.

Menu-Multimedia-media player and scroll down to record, you will see the program details that you recorded in the far right window, highlight and press play on remote.

Thanks, Don't really mind not having a EPG for BT Sports but i'd be lost without one for the movies.

I disagree, it should be formatted to FAT32 otherwise the Skybox will not recognise it.

I am using an external 2.5" drive formatted to NTFS which works fine with my F5s.

u can use both on certain devices ive found ntfs is a better set up for organised file uses less space

The OP is referring to his USB stick and I haven't checked myself but I am led to believe that a USB stick should be formatted to FAT32 as if I remember correctly NTFS has caused problems for some people in the past and they've been advised to format their stick to FAT32 which has rectified their problems. If NTFS does indeed work ok on a USB stick then I stand corrected. I was going by Shady's Openbox Setup Guide sticky which I assumed would be the same for a Skybox:

1: Format your USB into FAT32
2: Drag your downloaded Image file, and if you have them, Channel list and cccam.cfg onto the usb stick.
3: Turn on the openbox and let it boot up.

I've downloaded the latest update installed it.

EPG DEFAULT SETTING: INTERNET(XMLTV)
GMT OFFSET: UTC+00:00
SUMMER TIME: ON

and its still a hour behind!

Check the " Information " menu option in your box to see if the Software version is " 3601HD_10_04_2014_0670 ". That will tell you if you have downloaded/installed correctly the latest version. If it's correct, then perhaps a simple reboot will be all that's needed.

the one thing i always forget to do after any work on the f5s,reboot. 99% of the time its a fixer
