Skybox Picon File (FULL)

Don't know if this has been done before, but I was getting fed up with lots of missing icons on the EPG, so I have updated the .ics file and inserted a logo for every channel.

1. Unzip the file, provided by tech1200 above, you should now have a file called 0282E.ics
2. Place the 0282E.ics file on a USB drive and leave plugged into the back of your F3S/F5S
3. On your remote press 'Menu' then navigate to 'multimedia' the select 'Picon View'
4. Change 'Picon View' to 'On'
5. Restart your F3S/F5S

Also bear in mind when following martin035's instructions that the Picon View menu options and functions are only available in the late December 2013 software and later. Therefore you may need to update your software if your box was supplied with an earlier software version

picons don't match up with channels. i get HD picon on +1's and atlantic as living although +1 atlantic is atlantic hd.

Here try mine, but please remember, like a channel list the picon list also needs to be updated/maintained, this can be done via the Skybox_picon_tool available from skybox.cc

Not sure about maintaining but skybox.cc has decided to take down some download files. Libertview.com has the picon tool

woka, I don't use AJ's channel list anymore and a lot of those channel you've list I've deleted, are on a different frequency or I just haven't changed the original picon, hence why the picons don't match up or they default to the none +1 picon. But if you upload your 'channel_info.xml' file I'll see what I can do.

on the remote, Menu-Tools-Dump by USB.
Dump mode - Misc files
Select and dump
Green then yellow

woka, I've aligned the picons with your Channel_info.xml (AJ's channel list 16/8/2014) couldn't find any reference to into+1 or cvs reality, just remember as AJ delivers new lists/Frequencies change you will loose alignment of the picons. You then need to use the Skybox picon tool to realign.

i would like to use the skybox picon tool but i can't find the download on skybox.cc, but it might be difficult as i have a Apple macbook Pro not a windows operating system so the tool might not work on my mac

It's only a basic program so I'm sure a program like Parallels or Winebottler would allow it to work on a mac.
