I have recently had this problem.

All worked originally now says no signal on most channels

I've tried switching to dish with no other box on it and still the same

Any ideas of what I can do

I've tried this box at a different location and still days no signal on most channels

            Only a few work.

Could this be a software problem ? How so I check I've got the right latest software

Any other ideas of what the problem is

did you try no signal fix as other than dish not being aligned properly
this is more than likely your soloution it occurs a lot where some
universal lnb use 13v for vertical channels and 18v for horizontal channels
andsome receivers operate at a higher voltage which makes receiver not
being able to switch via horizontal and vertical which results in you getting
              no signal on some channels

its simple to do just put one put your cable from your dish on one side
and put the other side into box where your cable was

I got the same problem with my old skybox f5s box with V channels working the H not. I did try everything with no luck so I ended up buying a new box. I have been told that it may been the tuner that is faulty.
