    Could this be a tuner issue meaning a new box is needed

      I thinks its the LNB /Dish problem rather than a tuner problem,,,try it in a friends house to see if problem is there

          DLINKA has already tried it at a different location.

          If you know someone with a digital multimeter, you could try unscrewing the LNB lead & poking a pin or bare wire into the LNB socket & measuring the voltage when tuned to a vertical & horizontally polarised channel.

          You should see around 13 - 14v on vertical & 18 -19v on horizontal.

          If you don't then it looks like a component may have failed in the box.
