skybox v8 setup.help needed

Have bought 2 skybox v8 to use as multiroom.
I have set up the box but am getting no satellites. Tried.different frequencies but keeps saying no programs. When scanned. Tried swapping satellite cable around and have even.Watched YouTube etc.
In Newcastle area
Any body have some.setup help please

You just have to put channel list and your gift and thats it because firmware is already installed

How do you add a channel list there is no load DB function and you cant seem to add bouquets either I have latest firmware installed,
Channels are a mess lucky there is a A-Z channel bouquet,

I don't have a V8 myself, but I thought it was done the same way as all the other openboxes/skyboxes.

Menu > tools > upgrade by USB > upgrade mode = misc files > select & upgrade = TP_PROG.dbs.

Get your latest list from Aj sats, then follow Hadron's instructions

just to confirm as i have a v8s the channels are added the same way as the f5s/v5s ,follow hadrons instructions

Yep that's the correct way to do it, then your fta channels will be watchable
