If your box works at a friends house and not at yours that eliminates the box.

Two other things for no signal.

1, Satellite signal, cable, plugs, lnb, alignment.

2, Television not receiving signal from box. (If your menu shows, its not that) check all in 1 above.

I'll bet a case of champaigne to a bottle of guinness that its trees, lnb gone. If a cable is shorting the box usually boot loops.

Did they check it at the box end of the cable or at the lnb?

Hi If box is working at your friends then its not box or firmware or your channel list . have you checked the cable from receiver with a sat meter to see if there is power from cable. Like i said if you dont get a reading in setup menu then its cable/LNB problem regardless whether you have a tree or not. The tree can block the signal from satellite but not from the cable. Your best bet is to check with a sat meter first. If the guy who checked it said it was perfect then why no channels... Also try your friends box and check.
            Regards.

Hi What is the point of doing a blind scan when you dont know what the problem is. The blind scan wont pick up any channels if dish is out of alignment or faulty cable/LNB etc. Have you set the LNB settings correctly ie UNIVERSAL etc. What is your signal reading at the moment...

Hi if the box is working at your mates house then problem is either LNB/cables or dish alignment. It cannot be anything else. Are you putting the cable in the correct connections. What wires did you change???

                      Regards

I have the answer to your problem. DONT buy open boxes there utter ~~~~~ do some reading before buying there are better boxes out there for nearly the same price with better support...

Hi . Totally agree with you about the box. You can always tell the good boxes from the bad ones by the comments posted on satellite forums. As fellow member maca rightly says it pays to do a bit of researching before buying.

                          Regards

are you running this alongside your official subscription as it sounds like the no signal fix problem, have you tried the V8 all on its own with nothing else connected

                                Code:
