Hi i put this up in the recover dead box section few days ago but no one replied, so im hoping someone can help.I have a freinds v8s box it was stuck on load after doing up date so i have tried to flash it quite a few times. Anyway 1 did work but all its done is take the load off the front. And now im getting nothing at all, no lights anything. There is power because if i put internet to it, it flashes at back yellow and green. Any ideas as im stuck ? thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wrong firmware has been flashed
Is the box a clone ??

So if it is a clone is there a differnt firmware i should be loading on it? If so where from? thanks josh.Comment

There aren't any V8S clones and both yojiatech or Skybox.cc firmware works equally as good.Comment

If it still doesn't work after trying a few different firmwares, you could try a different power supply.
Although the lights on the ethernet port are working, sometimes the voltage from a failing PSU goes noisy before failing completely.
If you have another power supply with the same voltage (12v), same polarity (+ve to centre pin), & current rating (2A or more), then you could try that.Comment
