    Thanks for the reply.

The V8s box works fine through the HDMI lead and socket on the upstairs tv. The same box and HDMI lead does not work in either of the two HDMI Inputs on the downstairs tv.

I think it's now narrowed down to being somewhere in the settings on my TV. I've had a look around and can't find anything that might make a difference.

YEP. Sorry. I was just about to edit my reply before you replied again. As you say, if it works on HDMI on the other TV, then the socket must be OK.

If other devices work OK on HDMI, then I can't imagine what you could change to make it work with the V8?

The sky multiroom box from upstairs is the only other HD Device I have. It works on the upstairs TV but not the downstairs TV.

This bloke got his HDMI ports working again by doing a factory reset on the TV. It involves going into the service menu, so if you do this, don't change any other settings:-
