yes you can, you will find the menu you want in 'Network local settings' off the main menu.
I'm suprised the box doesn't recongise it through usb, might be a long shot but try formatting it to fat32.

IP address
subnet mask

Apply

I do not know where to enter NuevoXtream info

i just got a s9 but i have the problem with the cfg. file i the box dont recocnize it at says file not found.i flashed with the last file i tryied another usb stick but nothing any ideas whats the problem.thank you.can i put the ***** without usb stick and how to thanks

i used 4gb usb stick with openbox and i only got 1 n half hours recording. is this about right...by the way i looooooove this box .excellent hd pic. seen 16 gb usb for ?12 will this give me 6 hours. thanks

Openbox 800 Danish OSD And auto Danis subtitles

Hi all
i have a question that i hope someone can answer.
I have a openbox and i like it verry much.
The only problem i have, is that i have to manual put Danish Subtitles on after a channel change?. i also have tried to put different firmwares on, in order to changes the osd languages to danish. On the openbox in the menu point Language it is not possible to chose Danish under subtitles ????
I would appropriate all help i can get out here.

Both my dad and myself have had open box's for a few months now and they were really easy to set up, Picture quality is very good on hd channels, no problems with rebooting and the box is quiet and cool.. Have had to rescan to get back a few sky channels (fx+, bbc4) but other than that its been great.

I have one minor annoying sound issue that im wondering if anyone else has had... On some HD movies i get a cracking sound that im thinking is due to my setup not being 5.1 and stereo..Anyone else get this problem or no a fix?

had bad sound poping on the lg tv , tryed it on a samsung new tv it was fine.

Umm hope its not as serious as that as ive only had my 42Inch tv a few months and im not really prepeared to change it.. ill try putting my portable on downstairs to see if it works.. Thanks for the help

i tested both tvs with the hmdi mate, if your tvs new then there may be a update sortwhere for the tv?

also if you get colse to the box does when its in standby is the a buzzing sound from the box?

New firmware released. There was no note with it, so i dont know what it improves.
Edit: It mainly improve the followings:

1. improve France HD channels playing problem again

2. Correct Russian

3 .Optimize the server

4. Optimize the reading smar card function

5. adds much more europe satellites and so on
