running a tm1000d with a motorised dish great receiver but not getting much apart from fta so really interested in this Openbox s9 hd, I have read through this thread but not sure what channels it clears, and what I need to do once I've got the box, so if some kind person could PM or email me and explain I would be most greatful

about firmware

I Was told that one should look for a new firmware to upgrade OpenBox S9
from the store you bought it Or from Chinese supllier that sold the box to you.

I had to contact my supplier and eventutually got the proper software
compatible with my S 9. It is Ok now.

Well if you are a novice the easier box would be the openbox, the dreambox 500s is capable of lot more and requires bit more effort and also its not hd.

Oh and you should really make the first post in the newbie section and introduce yourself.

I know sorry about that ive made one now also ive ordered a dreambox dm 500s cos they been out for longer and have a good rep. Anyway i should shut up now dont want to get done for spamming

Mine works fine. No issues with this latest firmware. Minor problems which are not important to me. I can say this box is better than DM500 HD which costs over ?300.

I share (intern in house) 2 cards (TVV and Telesat Be)
All is working, but i cannot see "chasse et p?che".
On my DB8000 (server) no problem...
What can it be?
