    Lost Signal

I was on 28.2 but wanted to find other sats. So I changed the setting as the ucals guide said and put in all the info.

Now the dish moves but I can't get back to 28.2. I can move the positoner and get a lock and all seems fine but when I exit its not 28.2.

    Any ideas ?

When I go to positioner and move the dish I can lock to 28.2. I then save it (or think I do) and exit the setup menu. Then when I go to watch a channel on 28.2 the dish moves to another position and the sat symbol flashed in the top corner even after the dish has stopped.

I did that and the dish moves fine. I just can't tune certain sats.

If I search for a sat it sometimes finds it and stops othertimes goes straight past without stopping.

        I tuned 13e with no problems but can't get 28 or 19 e

I go to positioer and lock in on the sat without problems. I then go to manual scan the sat that i'm on and everytime just before the scan it moves the dish just a bit and I can't get anything.

Don't know what to do now.

Maybe out of date sat xml file or are you using old bouquets?
Can you select a strong channel like one of the fta channels on 28.2 which has a strong transponder.

I can tune in to the sat using a positioner so shouldn't the alignment be ok ? I've got 19e and 13e working now.

I get 100% signal on 28e using the positioner its when I go to scan for channels the dish for some reason moves. I get the flashing dish in the top right and it doesn't find the signal again.

When I search for sats it sees 28e locks on but doesn't stop and goes right on by.

Maybe I should delete all my 28e channels from yesterday and the bouquets I added and start again ?

Thanks for that. The settings are the exact ones I have in my machine.

Still nothing. Do you think I should delete the scanned channels on 28e and start again ? I can't get lots of sats like 1w or anything after about 10e really.

Is there anyway to adjust the dish angle without going up a ladder ?

I'm still not sure thats the problem though as I had 28.2 locked before I can get it again using the sat positioner. The problem is it moves to another postion when I try to watch a channel or scan, not much but enough.
