no epg satmate/rytec

not been able to load epg since tuesday on satmate. keeps comming up with (sorry connection failed)! same with rytec. is there a better epg to get.

You need external storage eg USB or hdd
Then just go into configure epg, choose opentv, then put a tick against 28.2 and 28.4
Next press download and wait a couple of minutes and it should be done.
Make sure you set update epg everyday in configure settings.
I use this in conjunction with coolmans TV guide which is similar in style to the sly one.

set it to update last night and from the start to finish it took exactly 10 minutes and then no epg
i have not had any epg working now for a week
i have dreamelite blackhole image
i have tried rytec and satmate today and nothing downloads.
think the servers are down??

If you're downloading the opentv epg then its fine mine updated last night no problem.have you set the epg save path correct eg if you've got hdd you need to change options to save to hdd or USB.

What image are you using ? cross epg is very easy to setup but I could never get it to work with -dreamelite-PHOENIXedition2- if thats you image then change it to something else, never had a problem on any other image

i have it set to usb because thats what i have do not have h/d installed

DreamElite BH_DM800_133D_ssl76a.nfi.
it is the one before phoenix,but never had any problems with it so never changed m8

update:
i have just downloaded rytec uk on dm800
so it looks as if the epg servers are working again

Rytec is down again, Satmate hasn't worked for a while, and no other service seems to work as good as Rytec.
