Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

mfaraj57 please tell us exactly the settings you are using in high quality so we can adjust them manually

in your high setting you have the bitrate too high and the result is despite i have 1mbit upload frequent pauses

in your medium setting you have it too low!!

and when i try to do it manually i never get the result i want it's a real mess

so please tell what settings exactly are you using in your high quality presetting, i need the details to then finetune it manually

Hi. I have been experimenting with your programs on on DM500c with dkImage v1.1. The dreambox player works very well. I had no success with other programs in attempting to stream locally to my PC. Thank you very much. However I am having little or no success with streaming over the internet. I have managed to get a poor quality picture (unviewable) by changing and experimenting with different settings. I have also tried the "Web Receiver" Program but have had no success. I just keep getting the message "Cannot connect to server". I think I have set up dynamic DNS and Port forwarding correctly. Maybe it is just the fact that it is a cable box with the DKv1.1 image. All your screen shots refer to Satellite boxes. Are your programs specific to DMxxxxS boxes? If so can you advise on how to stream over the internet using a DMXXXC? Thank You.

Sorry i do not know about cable dreambox,but image on dreambox play arole in restreaming as gemini is worst and pli-jade is best
error in connection with sever in web receiver means there is something wrong in opening port 5678 or dns address is not valid or not active
in dos ping dns address and seen the result and by portcheker program test port 5678 and 1234 ports

After I press ok it seem to start installation but "An unexpected setup error has occurred".

This problem of installed with xp sp3 because installation is ok in xp sp2,vista and windows 7
i will contact microsoft to solve the problem
if you have installed previous versions of the program unpack the player.cab and copy the program exe file to folder of previous version and run it

Bitcontrol 1.5

Hi Mfaraj57, i have been using the software for a few weeks now it tells me the bitcontrol evaluation period has expired. (Using windows 7), problem is if i have 1.5 installed i get a really good picture, if i remove 1.5 and just leave 2.5 on the picture breaks up but the evaluation message dissapears.
