Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

with my DNS address I can connect remotely to my DM800 webcontrol page so I know thats correct.

I'm trying to connect through my home internet.

Finally is it possible to change channel on the dreambox Dm800 when i'm watching a channel remotely, as I would like to leave it streaming while my girlfriend can change channels normally, so I watch what she is watching?

Thanks to the peeps involved in this, I'm loving streaming over my LAN but i've been tearing my tearing my hair out trying to get it to work remotley..

I'm nearly there... can see the wep-page remotley but when i try to connect windows media player to the stream it tells me 'Windows media cannot play the file. the player may not support the file type or a required codec may not be installed on your computer'

Is an account / stream key with justin TV required to be able to stream over internet ? When i press the start re-streaming button the justin TV dialogue appears asking for a stream key.... ive created an account but cant get the stream key anything i do, poss flash/win7 problem ? when i click cancel it stops restreaming and plays again.

Any pointers please ? I think i'm just on the verge of getting this sorted.

sure dns is correct if you connect through dreambox webinterface
web receiver program need port 5678 to be opened in server side and forwarded to server pc ip as 1234 port,this able receiver program to communicate with server side

for enigma2 machine like dm800 even with local streaming difficult to change channel in dreambox and some channels allowed in same frequency as the channel selected from program in pc(similar to recording) and the recording red light blinking while in fact no true recording
the only way remotely stop streaming ,switch channel and start streaming again

usually this problem is not from program and usually from the dreambox when send the stream,some images in dreambox are not good with streaming outside dreambox best is pli-jade and worst gemini

Your other local streaming program works perfect, I have open the ports 1234 (TCP) & 5678(TCP) to my pc and my DNS is up to date, so i'm stuck on how to continue?

I mut admit I have not tried your webreceiver remotely yet, Ive been trying to use it using the one internet connection, do you have to have the local streaming program woring at the same time for the web receiver to work?

This problem of installed with xp sp3 because installation is ok in xp sp2,vista and windows 7
i will contact microsoft to solve the problem
if you have installed previous versions of the program unpack the player.cab and copy the program exe file to folder of previous version and run it

you can use receiver and streamer in same pc
fill the dns address in receiver settings withou http like this
xxx.dyndns.org
web receiver program connect wth server prgram not dreambox so direcr and forward port 5678 t0 pc ip and not dreambox ip
if above failed and if possible pm to me your dns addrress and i will try from my side-this is up to you

After lots of reading I got streaming working between player and sreamer 6.0.0f and web receiver version 5 on same pc. However, No audio or sound on both player and receiver.

My setups are as follows:
Dreambox 7020

Image = Pli jade 3
Vlc .990 installed

1/ player/streamer
dyndns address= working and updated
opened port =1234 on transmitting end
high upload speed (I have 2 mega adsl speed)
port 5678 opened on transmitting end
Dreambox port 80/ working ok

2/ Receiver

same dyndsn address of transmitting end

server streaming port: 1234

Dreambox port 80

Can you please help me with restoring the audio on both receiver and player

I think your program is a breakthru in streaming , Congratulation.


By the way my friend is posting this in english on my behalf.
