Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

Hi and sorry for delay
to receive stream we can use vlc,wmp or web receiver program
in vlc we can put in file-open netwrok stream and put the address appeared in streamer program
in wmp you can use file-open url and put the address
regarding web receiver just fill the dns address and port 1234 in settings
you can do this and test in streamer side and see if you receive stream,if you succeeded in receiving streaminm in same windows hosting streamer and you can not receive in remote vista pc then there is problem in vista and program

Results:
vlc-it says unable to open the MRL http://192.168.x.xxx:xxxx
wmp-it says unable to establish a connection to server.(mms://dyns.com:1234)
please help. port 1234 and 5678 are open. again thanks in advance.

There are preview buttons in right lower side of program,what happaned when press them

hi mfaraj, my problem at the moment is that i cannot stream to my pc where i installed program 6.04 and 5.02.ports1234 opened and dns updated. program 6.04 working well but 5.02 can not receive streaming it only says streaming wait.. i can see all channels but thats all.I think the question is what shall i do to make 5.02 to work or am i missing something.again thanks.

Still using the Dreambox VLC Streamer 1.2 and it works perfectly!

But still cant figure out why VLC wont show the "transcoded video" when Dreambox VLC Streamer 1.2 calls VLC for transcoding. VLC just opens and transcode it.

In your program, users can view the transcoded picture.

Whats the difference in the calling for VLC?

i will check version 6.0.4 for this error,however you can use 6.0.3 no much difference

Both programs use same technique in restreaming and i will not convinced that one better than the other in restreaming because both using vlc
my program hosts vlc plugin so transcoded steam shown in my program

usually this can be solved by run as administrater or choose xp compatibilty mode and same in windows 7

When it comes to embeding the stream in my homepage. You sent me a code once. It works perfectly!

But, is there a way to design it more? I want to change the text PLAYLIST1 that comes as default in the embeded wmp.

Is it also possible to use an ASX file instead of the code you sent?

Anyway the good thing is i managed to stream using program 5.0.5 and very happy with it. thank you for the time and help you provided.keep up the good work. for now i,ll just enjoy this program and hopefully find the way to open 6.0.4. again thank you.you,re a star.

Can you please help me with a strange problem

when I choose the advance option for upload profile and press restream , the address which results starts with MMSH or HTTP, I copy the full address and paste it in url of windows media player, the player rejects both addresses that start with MMSH and HTTP.

please help me how to solve this problem
