Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

Qaulity of streaming depends on many factors include the quality of source stream(depend on dreambox image for enigma1 dreambox),transcoding codecs and the enviroment in which transcoding going to be done(cpu,envirement different codecs and interactions,adapter card...) and finally and most important internet upload speed
You need to be sure about theses factors and pli-jade image is the best for dream500 or other enigma1 dreamboxes
others i prefer to do streaming while other applications closed to free cpu as much as possible
Borthers saintomer,ian1095,rruunneerr posted very useful compination of codecs and you can follow them up and in dudez and to choose the best for you
Your upload speed is considered to be low(around 200kb/s) so you have to compress video stream as much as possible to reduce its size in cost of quality to be carried easily be internet wires
finally mp4a is better to be combined with h264 than mp3
download latest update and from advance use different combinations and see what the result can acheive

Thank you for the answer. I have pli Image on Dm 500s and I think the problem is my upload speed. I have gone down to bitrate 25 and scale 0.11 still is freezing overinternet.

Hi doors123,
as Mfaraj57 has allready said this depends on so many different things that its difficult to say what any 1 persons settings should be
for a start though swap TS encapsulation to mp4 as this is much more bandwidth friendly

try these settings for a starting point and adjust either up or down as required for your setup;

I have just tried to installed your latest version 5.05 and when it installs I get the message saying that there is system files that need to be updated and restart windows.

When I click update and restart windows, and reinstall the same thing again.

Any idea's?

i cant really test it mate as this version wont load the channel lists from a 7020,without these the program keeps stalling and trying to load them again in a sort of loop.i cant stream HD channels either from the 7020,it just states undifined stream.but this could be down to the channel lists not loading,although it will stream other SD channels for a short time,but before returning to the loop and trying to load the channel lists again.
with regarding to updating the files upon install just ignore it mate,it still installs ok.ian.

Engima2 dreamboxes(dm800,dm7025 and dm8000) are better than enigma1(dm500,dm600..)
from enigma2 the best is dm8000 but it is expensive,dm7025 old without hd channels support and dm800 has reasonable price with hd channel support and with harddisk
I have dm800 clone and it is magic receiver and very interesting
regarding streaming to pc and to internet enigma2 are better than enigma1 and not dreambox image dependent as enigma1 dreamboxes
my advice if you can not buy dm8000 go straight away and buy dm800

dreambox player and webstreamer 5.0.5
updates:
1-Ability to watch hd channel(dvb-s1) from dm500
2- Can watch channel on dreambox and watch,record or stream second channel on the program but both should be in same frequency band(for enigma2 dreambox only)
3-fix the language priority on restreaming or playing by the program
4-More control of the streaming process
5-The program can work now with latest versions of vlc 1.0.0 and 1.0.1
6-Can restream through launching vlc player
7- hope i fix the problem of channel list displaying with dm 7020,i do not have it to test to be sure,waiting for feedback.

i cant download it mate,your link just goes to an arabic site and then when i click on the link on the arabic site the page just moves up to an earlier post and nothing downloads.ian.

I still have the same problem as previously where its asking me to update my system files. I click cancel at the installation just stops.

Also when I select ok it restarts windows and then the same thing again when I install again.

Any solution?
