    Moved to sat section.

You can use the default address, (unless you have changed it, if so use that address), of your router as a DNS.

Alternately you can choose a DNS server here http://www.dnsserverlist.org/

Dependent on model and image there should be a setting in network setup to allow you to add/edit DNS settings. Just assign the same gateway address, (your router address), to DNS1 or use the link I gave you to pick one or two servers.

99% of the time thats correct recently on a Netgear i had to use Virgins Nameserver for it to work.
The Netgear ip wouldnt work so used 194.168.4.100 which is Virgins Primary Nameserver.

On your main pc, run cmd and do ipconfig /all, note your dns and use on your dreambox.

Failing that, just set a safe public dns on your dreambox such as google i.e. set it to 8.8.8.8

Broken router firmware, an all too common problem these days even though it should be easy for the router manufacturers to get it right.

Generally, the router should be able to grab the provider specified nameservers and then forward all requests it cant fullfil (which will be nearly all) onwards.
