I had hoped to sign of on this thread tonight. BUT I finally had the box delivered today and guess what its not even a REV M tuner like he advertises on the website. So not only is he ripping people of with the postage he isn't even supplying the correct product he advertise's on the website. Credit card investigation here we come.

Firstly smoggie, the 1st post in this thread was.
      Advice on this seller please?
Has anybody else had dealings with this seller dreamboxsales.co.uk. I'm still waiting for my box after 10 days and have not recieved any proof of posting.

and I and a quite a few others have posted a sensible and factual reply, yours I might add certainly is not. It just seems to be a soapbox rant, because if you had taken the time to read my post, that you quote, you will see the answers you demand are already there. I dont suggest that mdallison buys his goods from anywhere! let alone the said seller thats his choice.
As for the customs, I have had the knock on the door, not for a STB, for something else none the less same thing, as I said you pay your money you take your chance.
And you ask why I think it's acceptable, as I said Smoggie. Read the post, I dont think its acceptable!!! nor do I stand up for the seller, merely trying to help mdallison with my experience with the seller

                HI all,
As I said before when I had a bad experience with Bubble supplies, dealing with companies that only have a web address is very risky indeed. Better contacting a company that have a genuine trading address and land line phone number.

Gotta agree with Ops and several others here, i found Tony from Yaoxin very friendly and he even posted the boxes the same day, I got the DHL tracking number the next day.

i was very cautious about ordering from China, but what the hell just tried my luck, ended up getting a better deal and customer service from Tony and the gang.

So overall in my opinion avoid all UK outlets, waay to overpriced!

dont shoot me for saying it!..its just MY opinion!

Time for me to sign of on this thread, I now have a working DM800 not sure it's a Rev M tuner but I have an inline amp anyway. The one thing I have learnt from this experience is next time I will buy direct from China as I have done in the past, definately not from a UK seller. I would not buy anything from dreamboxsales.co.uk ever again, but it's up to each and everone to make up their own minds. many thanks for everyones input.

You guys I want to take the time out and thank you for all your replys.
As a noobie looking to get his feet wet with the DM800HD I was considering ordering from dreamboxsales.
Last thing I wanted to do was order from him and only to find out that he in return, ordered it from China.
Thanks to you all it seems like im better of ordering directly from China.
Good Karma comming your ways guys !!

I don't see prices on yaoxincn's website...Mind I ask how much they are going for delivered to the UK ??

Got my box from Tony yesterday, pluged in and set up, all fine.
switched it on today and HD channels started glitching and freezin up big time, checked SD channels and same.
Looks like me as a duff tuner just my luck.
Plugged in my other DM800 and thats working fine, so got to be the tuner on the new box.

                          kin heeeeell

Checked on fta channels mate, defo the tuner, checked on 2 different dishes too.
Signal is up and down like a yoyo on new box.
Put my old dm800 back and all channels are spot on.

send him an email.. may just need to send the tuner back for a replacement..

seems strange that it worked fine one day and not the next.. a duff tuner would have shown itself straight away

When you say FTA channels which ones have you checked..?? Some are FTV and require a Sky Freesat card so if your problem is your 'supplier' of channels it would still glitch
