I checked my tuner at the wknd and as I suspected it is an L3 tuner not an Rev M as advertised. This guy is a total rip off.

To be honest mate I'm just sick of the whole episode luckily I already had an in line amp so the box is working Ok. Just want others to be aware.

i bought an S9 openbox from this and it came shipped from china so i had to pay 37euro for taxes and there is no english language on this!!!!!!! this guy ripped me off. Is there anything i can do?. I paid him with paypal

When did you order it? Did it say on the site that it would be shipped from China or from the UK ??

Oh yes there is, I posted in this thread on page 2/3 I think.
Having been in contact with Frank and getting no joy from him, and him keeping telling lies to me about the box I ordered from him, I took some advice from a friend who knows a lot more about buying on line than me and I opened up a Paypal dispute against him for non delivery of said item, he escallated the dispute saying that I was 'dishonest' well long story short after about 8 days I had a full refund in my Paypal account. So contact him again and tell him you will do the same and see what reply you get from him.

you could have said hello first m8! are you shipping from uk? does the fan switch off in standby? is the tuner the one with high sr (45000) and blindscanning? regards mdt

I got a box with the dreaded 'This is a clone box' and no matter what I tried, upgrade tools etc, it would not come back to life, so I asked him for another box and he basically said no, I can return it to him and he would return it to China for repairs etc, all at my expense.

So I bought another box from elsewhere and opened a paypal dispute with him and I won.

When I finally got my DM800 it was the old L3 tuner not the rev M one advertised. This guy realy is a tosser, I have done my best to make people aware of him. I think we need to keep this thread alive to make people aware.

I have just seen the amount of views this thread has had so I think that it is doing a good job, but some people never learn.
