Picons display problem

Thanks as ever for your updates, amazing work and much appreciated by all im sure!

I have a small problem however that I hope someone reading can help me with. I had my Picons for 28.2E and 13E saved on the flash memory (taking up quite a bit of space too). They were displaying perfectly on the channel info menu bar when zapping, the CoolTV guide and also on the front display of my 800se.

To free up some memory, I got a USB memory stick and transferred the Picons to that instead. I think i did that action first, THEN deleted the folder Picon entirely on the flash memory. I had to change the address on CoolTV Guide to show it where to pick up the Picon images from, and they are displaying on that ok. However the info bar now doesnt display any Picons and my display on the 800se is totally black also, displaying no picons but simply the menu info when i enter them.

My image is the OpenPli 2.1.

Can someone tell me how or IF I can get this image to now pick up the fact that the Picons are on the USB and no longer in the flash?? I cant see any options anywhere on the menus to tell the software this and its kinda disappointed me to lose them on the display and on the menu bar!!

im familiar with the picon and bouquet files you uploaded but what is the CCcam.channelinfo.28.2e.only.28.02.12.rar file for and what does it do?

I can only add what my dish picks scan picks up mate

Yeah that's cool.jus thought might b an error but its all good I jus did a scan and they came up, keep up the good work!!!

Moved Sky HD Channels to the first folder, There are plenty of HD channels now to have it as a main bouquet

These bouquets are positioned identical to the Sky Box, All that is different is the numbering which I find to be very messy when done so I leave it how it is. Enjoy a neat up to date bouquet.

I will be doing Enigma2 Multi Bouquet, But will not for Enigma1 as it takes too long to remove every HD channel from all satellites, Easily too do yourself if you have the time.


** Edit your own BBC & ITV Regional channels to suit your needs in DreamboxEdit (If you are from Ireland, I've renamed all Irish channels so easy for you to find) **

Also added Picons for Sky UK,
All correctly mapped and a few obscure ones missing only

Use any FTP client, DCC for example, to transfer the picon directory to
one of the following paths on Flash, HDD, CF or USB respectively:

/usr/share/enigma2
NOT recommended, because of limited capacity of the flash memory

/media/hdd
HDD will keep running indefinitely and may affect image performance

/media/cf
Recommended if CF available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

/media/usb
Recommended if USB available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

Picon will display immediately on zapping, no further setup required!

Always remove old picons from Dreambox before uploading new ones,
Sometimes they don't overwrite correctly

Hi flip jus noticed havim got my dm800 re connected to my multi that on 4.8e u havnt got the viasat pl channels?? Jus 1 FSS channel

You ain't being a nuisance mate. Never heard of the image not allowing new bouquets to the box, Maybe someone else has an idea?

Changed the image and that solved the problem. Maybe the image was a little corrupt I don't know. Love your bouquets . Cheers .

Yeh I know that but its a pain! I swap all the HD chans as well!
I thought someone might have automated the process or similar.

Surely its easier than scanning, checking for new services, Sorting new services, sorting 2 sets of bouquets, Match the picons then edit the cccam.channelinfo with new additions?

when SGNTflipflop updates this bouquet again do we just upload the new one over the previous one using dreamboxedit or do we need to delete the old one first

i only ask because i dont want a load of duplicate channels
