SGTFlipFlop SKYUK Bouquets - Updated Regularly

Thanks SGT FLipflop sorry newby alert here, read this thread and did a full automatic scan first.

I have an original dreambox 800hd so selected New enigma 2 settings for upload path. (otherwise dreambox edit moans about no lamedb or services)

When i select reload i then go into Bouguet +/-

Sleect provider and BskyB

And select something in there like

Service unavailable check tuner configuration?!

Any pointers appreciated i have already gone through automatic setup a few times. Although i see mentions of tuner config too and lnb bindings fck knows what im doing any help thanks

press menu/ setup/ service searching/ tuner configuration/

and it should say choose tuner
tuner a: bcm4505 (dvb-s2)
not configured

press that then it will say
reception settings
configuration mode nothing connected

press sideways arrow on remote and you`ll see
config mode simple etc
if your fixed dish sky only you need to select simple
mode=single
sat=astra 28.2
send DiSEqC=no

all this depends on your dish setup though hope this helps

Hey Redders superb thanks very much i knew it was relatedd to tuner just didnt know correct sky settings. NEed to add this to a newby guide for sky somewhere unless there is a sticky already!

Oh for sure, but if there was a new starter guide answering all these questions i would much prefer, save everyone repeating the same tedious questions for more experienced people on here.

Im trying to collate/note what im doing now as a new user and will post if it helps anyone else with the initial daunting challenge of knowing what is what.

addon question.

Can i ask, is the sgt flip flop addon as upto date as manually ftping
the files with dbe? Does the addon automatically update as new channels are added

if your using your bouquet okay... have a flick with your remote and move down to the sky sports interactive favourite all the channels are there, they usually air around 10pm...

I had a look and that bouquet doesnt appear to exist, I think i do remember seeing it on a previous bouquet update, but i was never able to view the channels when i clicked on them. Can't remember the error message.
I will backup my boquet lists and restore an older SGT Flip Flop update and see if they come back and let you know.

Firstly, MANY THANKS to SGTFlipFLop for the continuous updated Bouquets.

I have a small and probably very simple question. I sometimes use our DM800 in the Motorhome and it would be useful if I could have a favourites that contained nothing but the FTA Channels.

I have used Dreamboxedit but only for basic things like changing the regional channels etc.

Is there an easy way of finding and adding only FTA channels?
