Hi I hope I'm in the right section: I recently bought my VU+ Duo (yesterday) loaded Vix scanned around 953 channels all over the place, np. My issue is Ive read on this forum that if I Ftp the Sly UK picon files (not the folder) to the VU+ enigma folder that this would create bouquets?. Ive done this many times using the VU+ CC by L Hudson to no avail, if someone in laymans language could tell me what I need and how to organise my channels it would be greatly appreciated.

I used Dreambox edit vers 3 (yes for the VU+ Duo) and loaded the SGT flipflop bouquets into this prog, (In DBe3:click open then direct to your flipflop folder, after you click ok you should see the channels and bouquts listed). Then click "options", at the bottom of the options dialogue on the "profile" Tab I found clicking the "New Enigma2 settings" got rid of the "Lamedb error message", click save. Then click "FTP", enter your VU+ box IP address, the "Send Files To Dreambox" should be highlighted, click this button and your files should be sent!.
I rebooted and had to re configure my satellite to Astra 28.e but NOT re scan as there was no need.

that channel recently changed frequency so rather than accuse one of the most respected bouquet makers of removing channels maybe do it for your self.

I'm having real probs installing CCam software, I have used VU+ CC to ftp enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.2_1.0-r0_mipsel.ipk to the tmp folder and ftp'd CCam.cfg to the Etc folder, but when I look to see the CCam with softcam manager i see nothing also when I look through menu/system/vix I get no Ipk folder?
any help would be greatly appreciated thx

Try reading the rules thats a start,look for the Dreambox Edit guide and install some bouquets but is your box all set up?

It changed frequency and was changed in one of the latest updates

i was not accusing anyone of anything m8 it says in sgt's thread it was removed by him so please don't jump on my back and ACCUSE me of something i didn't do
