I've still got 5USA, but recently a number of channels no longer work, such as Sky Living (SD), Sky 1 HD, Sky Living HD, Sky Atlantic HD, and some of the HD movies inc. Premiere, Disney, SciFi/Horror

Is there a new list due which will fix this, please?

some of the hd channels are not opening due to changes implemented by sky , theres nothing you can do about those channels as we speak or maybe there never will be . but you should update your satellite.xml file on a regular basis and also do a scan atleast maybe every few weeks just to stay up to date .

Where do I get an updated satellite.xml file from if there isn't a new one for this set of channels, please?

And for rescanning, does that sometimes work without having made any other changes?

no your not understanding me , some of the channels (hd channels ) wont open even after you update the satellite.xml file . they will be there on your epg but they wont open , that's not because of a frequency change but due to changes that sky have implemented , theres nothing atleast right now that will fix those specific channels . but an updated satellite.xml file will ensure that you will be able to receive all other channels that currently still open . you can download an up todate satellite.xml file from the following link .

if your current satellite.xml file is reasonably up to date a scan will usually suffice to bring back channels that have changed frequency etc , but as I say a scan wont make those specific channels open .

You can generate your own xml file from http://satellites-xml.eu then ftp it over to your satellite box.

Thanks for the info. Is it known when a fix will be available for the channels which have disappeared, please, as the lack of them rather kills the point of having a Dreambox.

There is no fix for the HD channels that have disappeared, And no one knows if and when there will be a fix. Enjoy it while it lasts

Use the Autobouquet maker and set it to your region and ask it to scan SD for preference you will never need to rely on a channel list again
