Sounds like I need some sort of software to input this onto my dreambox? I have dreamup & also a null cable. Where & how do I get to the temp file? also wher & how do I input my line? Sorry to sound stupid but just learning

you know when people reffer to put file in /var/bin, /var/etc/ or an empty folder? I take it they are connected to the dreambox on the pc? what program do I need to cconnect to the box on my PC to add cams?

Hey Mick! I've PM'd you regarding testing a modded beta image that might solve your reported Timer Recording issue in C14.4 to C14.7 m8. But nobody seems to be in, despite repeated bangs on the door...

appreciate all this help, I have downloaded file zilla now. How do I connect to the ftp client? some1 can log remotely log in if they want to help me?

its the latest commando with birmingham channels,timers and the bit u need , wink wink , just add your line

unzip and add to your temp file if u have command on and do a manual update , if u have pli installed add to temp and rename to root.cramfs and do manual update , save your lines first tho before u update and add again after

Ok Guys seem to be getting somewhere now, connected to box filezilla, transfered the file C14-7-dm500-backup30.01.13 to tmp folder. Did a manual transfer uploaded file from pc to remote file remote path /tmp, named the file root.cramfs processed transfer queue, the file now shows in tmp folder as root.cramfs. Is this correct. What is my next step, seem like i'm so close to getting this working ;-)

I connected the box to the tv set my region & when it does the Autobouquets I get the error, unable to set my bouquets, what am i doing wrong?
