Hi guys downloaded both 15 and 15b but getting an error extracting it - any ideas or anyone has a link to download working version.

Hello guys, i am new to this dreambox stuff , i have insalled version 15.0 of Commando , first of all its not letting me into ftp with "root" and "dreambox" anymore , aswell as its stuck on loading. Anyhelp maybe ? , would be appreciated.

P.S: when i scan for service it says, transponder fail.

Hi to all, I am currently using 14.7 ( love it with it's auto channel update etc ..only problem was the out of sync ) can I update from my current image to this new one without reflashing my dm500s box .. quick step by step tip greatfully apreciated ! Did this new one cure the sync issue ?

I recently updated a box from 14.7 to 15.0 using the online updater using the blue button..worked really well.

Hi all,

I have read the whole tread so only asking as got a bit stuck here.

I have a Dreambox 500s that I would like to make use of. It has the Gemini image when you put it on but I would like to add this image as the box as not been used for 2 years and it looks like the easiest way to also update channels.

I appreciate the process may be simple but is there a user guide on how to add this image to the box. Sorry if this has already been asked.

then you need to add the magic

file 1 goes to var/etc/emu

file 2 goes to var/etc

put the prize into var/etc/magic

Hi all,

After reading through various threads on this forum I downloaded FlashWizardPro to install Commando 15. I then added the image to the tmp directory and FWP creates a file that you can then boot from.

However the screen now does display the Commando 15 image but it justs hangs there. Does anyone have any advise on the matter please?

Hi .. My set-up is a DM500s going to a Diseqc switch via diseqc 1.0. One on the inputs into the switch comes from my Sky Dish. Another is going to my motorised dish via Diseqc 1.2. I am trying to install New Commando ver 15.0. The dreambox loads up ok and on boot-up goes straight to BBC1 London. I can't see anyway of setting my configuration up. Usually I do this via a non standard option on set-up. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks.. Stum..
