enigma 2 keeps re-starting

i have a dm500hd and am running open pli 1 which has been fine for ages but all of a sudden enigma 2 re-boots on its own every so often , ive looked in the crash log , but dont really know what to look for , have never used telnet , i just use dreambox edit and dcc to ftp channel list to box . can i have some advice on what to do ( will probably need step by step instructions if i have to use dcc or dreambox edit) or should i re-flash with the same image and see if that cures the problem . thanks

that was happening to me mte also, i just reflashed again and all is ok now

just remember to upload your chn list and write
down your motor settings [long/lat] if you use
the usuals motor settings before you re-flash any
image as it will over write the previous image
and clear all your settings just like a factory reset does
to other types of sat receivers

i dont know about others with this model but i
found it better to scan my own channels and sort them
with the dreamboxedit. it saves a lot of clashing problems
