DM500HD has arrived in UK

Thanks guys,

so where is reliable in the UK? I'm torn between the dm500 and dm800. 500 is obviously cheaper, but I have a full hd tv so seems a shame not to use it properly!

Is there a reliable HD receiver that doesn't have PVR facility? Would be cheaper I guess??

And is there REALLY a problem with clones? My brother has a dm800 clone and has had no problems with it.
If it helps, I don't want a motorised dish etc - I only want to be able to access Sly. Not bothered about foreign channels / sats.

As I said, I'm new to this so am open to suggestions....

you buy clone you get what you pay for )= i got a 800hd it was a fire hazard (ie court on fire) yes it bust out in Flames i paid buy pay pal i got my money back thats when the Abuse started =/ by email. by some one could tony it whent on for weeks so stay away from clone boxs. (ps what he did not know is im a 6.6ft biker and in the end i sent a email saying that if he did not stop sending me emails ill go down to see him and sick what was left of the box up his a** you know what no more emails) 1 clone boxs you get what you pay for. 2.ther fire hazards. 3. you get lots of Abuse no suport.Be for you say aney thing i did not know it was a clone

Sorry mate, 6ft 6 or not - Ive had 5 or 6 clones for me and family and friends etc and had no problems. Legit gear can have problems too, nothings perfect
