Am I able to use RS232 to USB?

You can but they are a hit and a miss. I have only ever had joy wehn using with XP also.

I bought my self a cheap Toshiba with a com port as I got rid of my PC.

I would advise findind a PC with a com insteading of messing about with the USB version.

I'm not really sure about any of this. Has anyone got a user guide from scratch? I have lost the channels (think subscription is over) and want learn about this.
