yes selected more than one, light is on the motor and it moves ok

when you changed your long /lat you did change long to west because by default it is not west
have you tried manual scan on 28.2 just to see if you pick any channels up

just done manual scan icon flashing progress 0% 0 services found and icon still flashing.

sorry to be a pain but are your long/lat correct because it looks like your box is not looking at 28.2 but your dish is if that makes sense

i cant understand why when ths dish has moved to the positon the icon still flashes to say it is still moving

i have a comag portable sat unit and a fortecstar home unit and they both work supeb on usal and get every thing tuned in no problem but the dm800 and the 2 dm500s i have wont work all 3 show no signal strength and show exactly the same symptoms.

first things first.

is your motor USALS compatible or not ?

yes works on usals ok on 2 boxes

it is very possible that the motor just does not like the receiver. i had the same with my uno. the motor worked fine with my dreamboxes but would not work at all with the uno and had to buy a new one.
