Have spoke to a number of companies today and have all said the same thing if the cable run is very long from the dish to the receiver on a motorised dish the power supply that come with the clones will give problems they are not upto the job either buy a new power supply or get a diff make of box.

tony what image you got on your dm800?

i had a problem with tune fail when i first got my dm800se,
because i was trying to setup using diseqc!

just try setting it up on usals,
it seemed to work for me mate.

using dreamboxedit ftp cateyes over to dm800 and
on the dm800 under tuner configuration choose simple\positioner\ then add your lat and long save then come out and choose the channel/satellite you want to go to

Thats a load of bull,how far is the dish from the box?
Just think how many of us have clones on the forum.
Can be a few things,either you havn't set up the tuner correctly,cant see all boxes being duds,maybe dodgy psu but all cant be crap,or the dish is out of line or the f connectors are suspect.
Going by your other box working fine i would hazard a guess bad flash or tuner not set up correctly.
Alot of guys here trying to help you so take it up with one and let them guide you on msn or by phone.
One other how old is the dish and lnb?
Maybe its on an old lnb and thats what need changing but if you have this problem on Dreamboxes you will get it on all Enigma boxes not just Dreambox.

dish is about 270ft away from box the dish is new and the lnb both only 3 weeks old i have spoken to the aerial rigger that set the dish up he has a db800 i am taking all 3 boxes to him tomorrow so he can check them out for me on his set up and if they work ok at his place then he will come and set them up on my dish,

when i start the boxes up this is what i get

Guessing 270 feet is a long length but what about communial places that have 1 dish and hundreds of points.
Perhaps you could add to the line like they do in appartments.
Have you actually had the menu up and gone into settings? Or are you only getting the Dreamelite banner.

I don't think the yardage makes any difference here. Tony says he knows the dish is looking at 28e and cant view any channels, now that isn't asking the dish to move anywhere. I think the motor is not clearing the info it has from the other boxes.

My motorized has a cable run of 30 metre, an all my clone Dm 's can power it fine
270 feet is some run, maybe a signal booster may help mate. Sloping type work best with Dm 's
