Bugger. Erase again and flash again choosing the flase erase option during flashing as well. It`l work eventually.

Its just an option if pli is failing which it has so far and you have tried different version of dreamup then whats to lose. Providing youve no plans for tonight.

Edit: Youre faster than my typing, lets hope this works.

, no im here allnight... got the beers out, which version of dreamup you suggest trying it on 1.3.3.2 at the moment.

Also just noticed on the power supply im using (supplied with the box) the green led light is dim? will that be causing problems?

Psu will make a difference use your other psu that you got.

Also have you tried the patched dreamups, I went throught trying a few out and only one to connect initially was the dm 500 and after I managed to erase it others were able to connect and think I flashed with 1.3.3.7

i have the patched dreamup you sent me and trying that now, but dreamup dm500 will not go past the first upload, the progress bar goes to the end but then hangs

Just shows how these boxes need different kind of pampering. What worked for me is not working for you but you are on the right track.

Have known people who have had to keep trying with different dreamup and images and eventually ones took.
