Sorry to hear its not worked, Im suprised that nothing has worked cos this is doable.

Only thing I can think of is the operating system. As far as I know most people and hardware prefer xp. I do all my stuff with xp initially did try things with win 7 but had lots of issues so got an old lappie and desktop with xp.

On my day to day lappie I have win7.

You could try putting network cable in while flashing via null cable as having network cable in helps according to some people.

Worth a shot. Even administrator mode what ever tickles this boxes fancy.

does dcc pick up an ip addy of dm when doing a search?

no ip is found, i can see my working box in dcc, but this box is not detected, light flash on mainboard when ethernet cable is connected tho....

open dreambox edit click on options and see if your dm addy is in there..
